HOW ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS APPLIED?
Our air-light lash extensions are applied individually, one by one, 1mm away from the eyelid, and never directly on the skin. They are applied to your natural eyelashes using a medical-grade and formaldehyde-free adhesive. Lash extensions come in different lengths, thicknesses, and curls, results can vary from very subtle and natural to very noticeable and dramatic.
WILL I LOSE MY OWN LASHES?
No.We care about the integrity of your lashes. We take every precaution and adhere to proper care, safety and health regulations. We also work with you to maintain proper lash care post application. We take extra care of your eyes, because we care. Lashes like all hair goes through cycles of release, we lose our lashes naturally just being human. Washing your lashes twice a day (morning & night) is highly recommended and as long as you refrain from rubbing your eyes or tugging at the extensions you will not lose your own lashes.
HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE?
The procedure can take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a forty minutes depending on the service received.
ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS BAD OR HARMFUL?
No, eyelash extensions are no worse than applying mascara. The biggest myth is that lash extensions ruin your own lashes. They do not. If applied correctly and properly, they are safe and will not ruin the health of your natural lashes. Be sure not to rub your eyes or tug or pull on the extensions because this can cause lash loss and even damage to your natural lashes.
DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS FEEL HEAVY?
Our Lash extensions should feel as light as your regular lashes. You shouldn't feel any tugging or a sense of your lashes being weighed down. Mascara weighs more than our extensions.
WHY DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS FALL OUT?
Your lashes fall out naturally during the natural hair regrowth cycle. This is a natural process. It could also mean you have fast hair regrowth. Also over time the adhesive may breaks down due to excessive humidity or other natural causes lash extensions fall off. This is a natural process and could also mean you have fast hair regrowth.
DOES THE LASH EXTENSION PROCEDURE HURT?
Just the opposite… It’s very relaxing. Most clients feel comfortable enough to fall asleep during the procedure. At Lashlette, we use superior quality products to bring the highest level of comfort possible for our clients.
DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
Yes, appointments are required as we cannot guarantee accommodation for walk-ins. Please schedule an appointment and honor your appointment time to avoid long waits and to ensure quality lash application.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?
Please arrive with no makeup on or around the eye area. When removing makeup around the eyes, use a mild cleanser and avoid using moisturizers, sunscreen, and removers that have oil-based formulas. Lashes must be clean for the adhesive to bond properly.
I WEAR CONTACTS, MAY I WEAR THEM DURING THE PROCEDURE?
We recommend removing your contact lenses before lash application. Eyes may feel dry and irritated with contact lenses kept in during lash application since your eyes must be kept closed for the entirety of the appointment (~1 hour).
MY EYELASH EXTENSIONS WERE DONE AT ANOTHER SALON. CAN I STILL GET THEM DONE?
We require a removal of your existing extensions before applying your lashes here as we do not perform refill services on work that was not done at Lashlette. This is to avoid the risk of mixing different adhesives and/or different materials.
HOW LONG DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS LAST?
Lash extensions last through a full growth cycle of natural eyelashes, typically 4-6 weeks. That said, because each person's lash growth is somewhat variable (just hair growth), I suggest light lash maintenance every two to four weeks to maintain a full look.
WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE MY EXTENSIONS LAST LONGER?
Wash your lashes and face twice per day. Refrain from steam rooms/saunas/swimming pools for 24 hours. Please no vigorous rubbing of the eyes or tugging at your lashes. Do not use oil-based makeup or makeup removers. Please refer to our LASH CARE section for more information.
CAN I STILL WEAR MAKEUP ORÂ MASCARA?
Majority of our clients choose not to wear mascara because they do not feel it’s needed. There is special mascara to use on your lash extension towards the end of a fill if needed. Wearing mascara required special cleanser to remove it nightly. Please use oil-free cosmetics when removing makeup close to the eye area while wearing eyelash extensions. CAN I STILL WEAR EYELINER WITH EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
Liquid, cream, and pencil liners are risky with eyelash extensions. Oil-based liquid eyeliners are not recommended, because oil can weigh down the lashes and result in premature loss of the extensions. ... Pencil liners, when applied, drag along the lash line, which can result in pulling, tugging, and tangling
CAN I USE AN EYELASH CURLER TO CURL MY LASH EXTENSIONS?
No way – please. An eyelash curler will break the bond on your extensions and will damage your natural eyelashes.
WHAT IS THE LENGTH AND THICKNESS OF THE EXTENSIONS THAT ARE USED?
Our lash extensions range from 8mm to 15mm in length, and 0.15mm to 0.25mm in thickness. We handcraft our selection best suited for your style and face shape giving you the results you want naturally. Our difference is founded on enhancing your natural beauty not distracting from it. We design lashes to look like they’re your own, only you will know.
WHAT TYPE OF ADHESIVE DOES LASHLETTE EXTENSIONS USE?
Our lash technicians only use medical-grade adhesive solely made for professional eyelash extensions. Our medical-grade adhesive is formaldehyde-free, contains butyl cyanoacrylate (for fast bonding), and poly isocyanate pigment (for mascara-like color). We do not apply any adhesive to the skin only to the existing lashes. We also provide sensitive glue options for those with allergies as well as providing a saline bath after each treatment.
WHEN DO I HAVE TO GET MY LASH EXTENSIONSÂ RETOUCHED?
We recommend clients come in for touch ups every 2-3 weeks. Clients who do Hot Yoga regularly may want to come in more often.
HOW DO YOU REMOVE EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
Removals are done at the studio by the lash artist. Do not attempt to remove the lash extensions yourself, it is best to schedule an appointment to have them professionally removed with a special removing solvent. You may also wait for your natural lash cycle to complete and have the extensions fall off naturally.
HOW DO I SLEEP WITH EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
Sleep on Your Back. It's recommended to sleep on your back to avoid any contact with the pillow.Â
Position Your Pillows. Surround yourself with pillows for support and to prevent rolling on to your side.Â

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE, AND HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?
Our Lash Lift takes about an hour - the treatment is straightforward and there’s no discomfort. Lash Lifts generally last between six and eight weeks, although this varies based on how healthy your lashes are. Surprisingly, if you use a lash growth conditioner, your Lash Lift may last on the shorter end of the range.
WHO IS LASH LIFTING FOR?
A Lash Lift gives your lashes a great boost. They look super on people whose lashes don’t naturally curl upwards (which is most of us!). Also if you regularly use an eyelash curler and want one less step in the morning.
WHAT IS THE NATURAL LIFE CYCLE OF AN EYELASH?
An eyelash growth cycle is between 6 and 8 weeks. There are many factors, including the health of your lashes, and how they are maintained.
WILL LASH LIFTING DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?
Lash Lifts are not damaging for your lashes. We use water based solutions that are non toxic and non-irritating. Our technicians are careful and well trained, they leave nothing to chance!

WHAT IS A HYDRAFACIAL?
HydraFacial is an invigorating treatment that can be given in as little as 30 minutes. It delivers long-term skin health and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of all skin types. The HydraFacial treatment is designed for all skin types. Even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates the HydraFacial treatment. Your physician or skincare professional may choose specific treatment serums and/or customize the treatment for your unique skin conditions and needs. Consult your physician or skincare professional for a skin evaluation and sensitivity test.
WHY IS HYDRAFACIAL GOOD FOR MY SKIN?

HOW LONG DOES THE HYDRAFACIAL TREATMENT TAKE, AND IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME OR PAIN INVOLVED?
HydraFacial is a fast, efficient treatment that takes as little as 30 minutes. You may put on makeup and return to your normal activities right after the treatment since there is no downtime.
WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT?
Many Lashlette clients report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one HydraFacial treatment. The smooth results and hydration may a week or longer. A good skin care regime and products may help maintain the results of the Hydrafacial for up to a month.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED TO SEE RESULTS, AND HOW LONG TO THE RESULTS LAST?
We recommend one treatment per month to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, oily and congested skin. Continued HydraFacial treatments are highly recommended to maintain skin health results.
